- Ben has previously admitted that certain songs can be “hypnotic” for him and helps in his creative process.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck might not be a couple anymore, but that doesn't mean we won't get the occasion hilarious tidbit about their relationship every now and then (and thank God for that). Case in point: Jennifer revealed that Ben is a huge fan of a certain major pop star, and had to suffer through his stan phase after she had just given birth to one of their children.
In a recent bookstore signing event, Jennifer asked author Laura Dave, “Do you guys do this? Do you listen to a song over and over again?.. I just want to tell you something. I've survived this. I have lived through it ... Ben Affleck listens to a song over and over. I had a three-month-old and a three-year-old living in a rental in Cambridge, Massachusetts while he was shooting The Town. And he listened to Beyoncé's “Halo,” and I would be nursing.”
While Ben has not openly admitted to clocking in for a regular shift at the BeyHive, the actor did previously admit that he is capable of developing an obsession with a track at times, especially when the creative juices are flowing.
“I listen to music when I write and usually I will find a couple of songs that are inspiring to me and I just sort of put them on a loop and then I will write to music,” Ben revealed in a 2016 interview for the Golden Globes website. “And I find that it’s kind of hypnotic and it allows me to concentrate more and it puts me more in the kind of feeling of the scene that I want the story to have. And so I think music is really, really helpful.”
Fab, now is he obsessed with Addison Rae's music? Asking for a friend, LOL.
